For too long, environmental responsibility has been portrayed as belonging to one side of the political spectrum. I believe that couldn’t be further from the truth.
Conservatives have always understood the importance of stewardship protecting and preserving what we value for future generations. That includes our countryside, our wildlife, our communities, and the natural resources that underpin our economy and quality of life.
In this article, I argue that conservation and economic prosperity are not opposing goals. With innovation, practical policies, and responsible leadership, we can protect our environment while supporting businesses, creating jobs, and strengthening our nation’s resilience.
